Arab League Asks World to End Israel’s Crimes against Palestinian Kids

DOHA: The Arab League has asked the world to mediate to end Israel’s serious and grave violations against Palestinian children and guarantee the protection of their rights.

In a statement, the Assistant Secretary-General of the Arab League said that humanitarian crises across the Arab region have affected children. She was speaking at the virtual regional conference on averting severe and grave crimes against children in military conflicts.

She highlighted the importance of the conference subject and noted several measures have been taken by the regional countries to address the problem, citing the 18th meeting of the Arab League Committee on Violence against Children and the execution of its suggestions.

The secretary-general said the world must hold the perpetrators of crimes accountable for their acts and ensure that they are indicted to avert further violations against Palestinian children.

Abu Ghazaleh highlighted the importance of upholding national laws and global conventions to ensure the protection of kids from violence.
