MAKKAH: Arafat sermon will be translated into twenty Languages by the Languages and Translation Agency at the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Holy Mosque and the Prophet’s Holy Mosque to enhance the quality of services, Arab media reported on Monday.

Translating the Arafat sermon is one of the most significant assignments undertaken by the department under the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Translation Project.
Deputy General President for Languages and Translation Ahmed Al-Hamidi told the media that this and other endeavours are as per the agency’s strategic plan for the year 2024.
He said that the sermon would be translated into English, French, Urdu, Persian, Russian, Hausa, Punjabi, Turkish, Malay, Chinese, Spanish, Swahili, Amharic, Portuguese, Swedish, German, Malayalam, Bosnian, Filipino, and Italian. He maintained that it would be broadcast via Manarat Al-Haramain Digital Platform.
