KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples Party co-chairperson and former president Asif Ali Zardari on Wednesday felicitated the Muslim Ummah on the arrival of Eid ul Azha.
In his special message, he said that the lessons of sacrifice, tolerance, and endurance are taught to people on Eid.
He used the occasion to ask all the stakeholders to collaborate in an effort to end poverty in the country.
He stressed that it was necessary to remember needy people in Eid.
Kashmiris to be Remembered on Eid
Zardari said that the Kashmiri brothers and sisters should be remembered on the occasion of the Eid festivity. The prayers would be offered for the valiant sons of the country who are protecting it.
The ex-President said that the martyrs who defended the homeland should be honored.
Zardari returned home after a 3-day trip to Dubai to celebrate the Eid festivities in Nawabshah.
