AHMEDABAD: Travis Head scored a spectacular century as Marnus Labuschagne played the perfect anchor, scoring a determined fifty as Australia defeated India by six wickets in the ICC World Cup final at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad to win their 6th crown.

Earlier, Australia won the toss, choosing to field, and their bowlers, complemented by stellar fielding, restricted India to 240 runs.
