Azad Jammu and Kashmir Gears Up for Grand Celebrations on Quaid-e-Azam’s 147th Birth Anniversary

MIRPUR: Preparations are underway in Azad Jammu and Kashmir to commemorate the 147th birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation and founder of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, on December 25th. Various social, political, governmental, and non-governmental organizations have organized special programs to honor Quaid-e-Azam’s contributions with enthusiasm and devotion.

In Mirpur, a significant ceremony is planned under the auspices of the state-run National Events Organizing Committee, in coordination with social and political organizations. The event aims to pay rich tributes to Quaid-e-Azam for his lifelong services in realizing the dream of a separate homeland for Muslims – Pakistan. A grand cake-cutting ceremony will mark the birth anniversary.

Another celebration, hosted by Shoukat Majeed Mallick, Secretary Information (Retd) AJK government, will include a cake-cutting ceremony to honor the great leader’s vision and leadership in the creation of Pakistan.

The day will commence with special prayers in mosques for the integrity, solidarity, and prosperity of Pakistan and AJK, along with the freedom of all occupied Muslim homelands, including Jammu Kashmir from Indian control and Palestine from Israel’s influence.

Similar ceremonies are planned in district and tehsil headquarters across Azad Jammu and Kashmir. Speakers will pay tribute to Quaid-e-Azam, shedding light on his life, ideas, and achievements that paved the way for the emergence of a separate homeland for the Muslims of the subcontinent.

The celebratory events are expected to foster a sense of unity and pride, reflecting on the enduring legacy of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
