KARACHI: The Pakistan men’s cricket team is priming themselves for their debut match in the four-game T20I series against England, set to commence on May 22nd at Headingley Cricket Ground in Leeds.

Following rigorous training sessions on Friday and Saturday, the squad embraced a well-deserved break on Sunday. During this downtime, skipper Babar Azam and his fellow players paid a visit to the Pakistan women’s cricket team ahead of their third T20I against England at Headingley.

The rendezvous saw key figures such as Babar Azam, team manager Wahab Riaz, and speedster Shaheen Afridi, among others, extend their best wishes to the women’s team for the remainder of their campaign in England, notwithstanding England’s women’s current 2-0 lead in the series.

Squads

The England squad includes Jos Buttler as captain, along with Moeen Ali, Jofra Archer, Jonathan Bairstow, Harry Brook, Sam Curran, Ben Duckett, Tom Hartley, Will Jacks, Chris Jordan, Liam Livingstone, Adil Rashid, Phil Salt, Reece Topley, and Mark Wood.

The men’s T20I series between Pakistan and England is scheduled as follows:

  • May 22: The first T20I will take place at Leeds.
  • May 25: The second T20I will be held at Birmingham.
  • May 28: Cardiff will host the third T20I.
