‘Bahaar Rung’ Women Gala Starts Tomorrow

ISLAMABAD: ‘Lets’ Grow Together’ – a community of entrepreneurs, will hold a grand gala ‘Bahaar Rung – Islamabad Women Gala-2023’ here on February 11 (tomorrow) to promote home-based artisans and women workers at the F-9 Park.

A two-day gala with over 150 vendors will be held for the fourth time. The stalls will showcase made-in-Pakistan homemade products by women entrepreneurs, including interior decor products and lifestyle exhibits like fashion products, furniture, resin art, paintings, garments, jewelry, etc. At the same time, certain stalls are also offered to kids to foster a sense of entrepreneurship in young minds and get them involved in healthy activities.

A traditional puppet show will be part of activities for children to create awareness about various social issues and keep the traditional performing arts alive.

Food court

The food court will also be set up for the women’s gala to offer a variety of foods for the families and visitors in a cultural environment while some stalls will be dedicated to imported products for income generation of women entrepreneurs, said Ambreen Haider, Leader of Lets Grow Together Community while talking to APP.

Gala a fun-filled event

Women Gala Islamabad is a fun-filled event encouraging women entrepreneurs across the country. Over 150 women entrepreneurs will participate in the event working for the welfare of the local community of women entrepreneurs in Islamabad.

Let’s Grow Together (LGT) Community is a dedicated platform for handmade, homemade, art and craft entrepreneurs, especially women working with the mission to create economic opportunities.

It facilitates the beneficiaries through various platforms exclusively aimed to create business opportunities for small entrepreneurs at different where artisans can display their products, share their business stories, outline their terms, interact and network with their counterparts, “such events help empower women, educate children, improve health and enable communities to thrive and succeed,” Ambreen said.

LGT is a community working for the support and strength of women to empower them through direct investment in the total socio-economic development of marginalized communities living in densely populated urban slums.
