Balochistan CM Praises Data Center’s Role in Crime Prevention

QUETTA: Caretaker Chief Minister of Balochistan Mir Ali Mardan Khan Domki visited the Data Command and Control Center in Quetta, where he received a briefing from Inspector General (IG) Police Abdul Khaliq Sheikh.

The briefing revolved around law and order in Balochistan, particularly regarding the return of illegal immigrants.

Domki expressed his contentment with the police’s strategies in handling the return of illegal immigrants, emphasizing the importance of supporting women, children, and vulnerable individuals during this process.

He highlighted the significant role played by the Data Command and Control Center in crime prevention, utilizing real-time information from a comprehensive dashboard. Domki commended the implementation of a computerized FIR system in all police stations across the province, recognizing its potential in delivering justice to victims.

He also paid tribute to the sacrifices made by Balochistan Police martyrs in their efforts to restore peace, assuring that the government would allocate adequate resources for modernizing the police force. In addition to visiting the Data Command and Control Center, Domki laid a floral wreath and offered prayers at the Police Martyrs Memorial.

The event was attended by various officials, including Caretaker Home Minister Mir Zubair Khan Jamali, Additional Chief Secretary Interior Zahid Saleem, and Director Generals from different departments.
