MAINZ, Germany: Jamal Musiala led Bayern Munich to a commanding 4-0 victory over Mainz in the German Cup’s third round, scoring an impressive first-half hat trick.
Musiala’s first goal came less than two minutes into the match, quickly setting the tone for Bayern’s dominance.
The young midfielder’s other two goals showcased his knack for timing and positioning, with one coming off a rebound from a Harry Kane shot and another following a deflected cross by Konrad Laimer.
