LONDON: In a festive gathering organized by Sardar Hayat, a prominent political and social figure in Berkshire, Pakistani students visiting the UK were treated to a lively New Year’s celebration in Slough, a town in the county of Berkshire, London. The event drew the participation of distinguished guests, including Member of Parliament Tan Manjeet Singh, Councilors, and prominent political and social personalities from London.

The New Year’s ceremony, held in Slough, commenced with the national anthem of Pakistan, setting the tone for a night of cultural exchange and celebration. Sardar Hayat played key role in organizing the event.

Participants at the gathering commended Sardar Hayat for his contributions to education and recreation, acknowledging Berkshire as a unique institution that has gained global recognition for its exceptional educational and recreational programs.

As a gesture of appreciation, the board of directors of the organization presented an honorary shield to Sardar Hayat, recognizing his invaluable services in the field of education. The students, hailing from Pakistan, actively engaged in educational and training courses aligned with contemporary requirements and had the opportunity to explore iconic locations such as London, Windsor, and Oxford University.
