ISLAMABAD: Bilal Ilyas Jhandir, a 20-year-old Taylor Swift fan from Pakistan, achieved a new world record for identifying the most Taylor Swift songs from their lyrics in a minute.

He named a total of 34 songs, surpassing the previous 27 held by Dan Simpson from the UK in 2019.

Taylor Swift’s top 50 best-selling songs were compiled in a randomly ordered list, from which Bilal was tasked with identifying each song solely from its beginning lyrics, read aloud by a human without any music.

Bilal dedicated 13 weeks to meticulously preparing for this attempt, striving to achieve the highest possible score.
