ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto on Wednesday said that there were numerous opportunities for South Korean traders and businessmen to invest in different sectors of Pakistan, including technology.
The foreign minister expressed these views during a meeting with the South Korean ambassador to Pakistan, Suh Sangpyo who called on him here in Islamabad, the foreign ministry said in a statement.
During the meeting, the foreign minister said both nations enjoyed historic and friendly relations.
He said that Pakistan was providing trained human resources to South Korea in various sectors and wanted to increase it further.
Bilawal also reiterated that Pakistan was keen to further consolidate its top-level contacts, including cultural heritage cooperation with South Korea.
Separately, the Foreign Office Spokesperson Zehra Baloch said on Twitter that Bilawal Bhutto satisfaction with the increasing bilateral development and economic cooperation between the two nations.
Pakistan Keen to Expand Scope of Relations
Bilawal expressed Pakistan’s desire to increase bilateral cooperation in fields of climate change, export of skilled labour, science and technology, culture, and people-to-people contact between the two countries, Baloch added.
