CHITRAL: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari on Wednesday asserted that the downfall of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM)-led coalition government can be attributed to “vengeful politics,” emphasizing that the former ruling parties were more focused on personal agendas than serving the public.

Speaking at a PPP workers’ convention in Chitral, Bilawal expressed concern that the traditional approach of veteran politicians would exacerbate the country’s challenges.

He said that the failure to achieve the targets set by the PPP within the PDM government was a result of the desire for revenge by the former ruling parties upon gaining power.

Bilawal Bhutto’s Campaign

As preparations for the upcoming elections on 8 February gain momentum, Bilawal Bhutto has launched his campaign, engaging in rallies and gatherings with party workers and supporters nationwide.

In his pursuit of success in the 2024 elections, he is actively addressing and targeting his opponents, including leaders of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).

Bilawal Bhutto stressed that his election campaign is not built solely on promises and slogans but on the basis of his performance, citing his sixteen-month tenure as the country’s foreign minister.
