WASHINGTON: Former national security adviser of the United States, John Bolton has said Vice President Kamala Harris’s foreign policy would be an extension of four more years of President Biden’s policies if she is elected the President.

Bolton in an interview with the US media on Sunday criticized the Biden administration for its withdrawal from Afghanistan and said leaders like Russia’s President Vladimir Putin can sense a “weakness” and that’s why the war in Ukraine started.

As Harris prepares for the election after Biden withdrew, people have started to question how she would handle foreign policy as the Israel-Hamas war and Russia-Ukraine war continue.

Bolton went on to say the foreign policy of Harris is an open question saying her administration would look like four more years of Biden.

That’s, I think, the best prediction you can make at this point and … that would just expose us as weak and undependable around the world,” Bolton said.

Harris has sought to pursue the Biden administration’s work.  She has been more critical of Israel’s ongoing war in Gaza. She said a cease-fire agreement needs to be reached but has remained quiet about U.S. arms supply to Israel.

She has also been supportive of Ukraine in its war against Russia and said during the presidential debate last week said that she’s met with President Volodymyr Zelensky many times.
