Bringing Foreign Investment Pakistan’s Top Priority: PM Shehbaz

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday said that encouraging foreign investment in the country is the government’s top priority.

During a meeting with a delegation of prominent business leaders from the United Kingdom, led by Zuber Issa, in Lahore on Sunday, Shehbaz Sharif said that the government committed to providing all-out support to the investors.

He said that the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) serve as a “one window operation” to facilitate the business and trading community.

He said that the country’s economy has been improving and foreign investment flowing into Pakistan due to the government’s efforts. He said that his government boosted investors’ confidence to invest in Pakistan.

The Prime Minister encouraged the delegation to invest in Pakistan, and discussions were held on exploring new opportunities for cooperation and strengthening business-to-business relations between Pakistan and the UK.

The delegation praised the Prime Minister’s economic policies and expressed their confidence in the stability and sustainable development of Pakistan’s national economy.
