KARACHI: British High Commissioner to Pakistan Jane Marriot called on Chairman of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari at Bilawal House Karachi on Monday.
British Deputy High Commissioner Sara Mooney was also present at the meeting.
Both sides discussed the promotion of bilateral ties and other matters of mutual interest.
High Commissioner’s Meeting with Governor Sindh
Moreover, Jane Marriot and Sara Mooney also called on Sindh Governor Mohammed Kamran Khan Tessori at the Governor House.
During the meeting, they discussed economic ties between Pakistan and Britain, enhanced cooperation in the sector of education, investment opportunities in the Sindh province, and other matters of mutual interest.
The Governor said that Sindh offered good opportunities for investment, and UK investors could invest in the province.
The High Commissioner visited the site of Bell of Hope and commended the Governor’s initiative.
The diplomat also reviewed the articles used by the Father of the Nation, Quaid-i-Azam Mohammed Ali Jinnah, and expressed her keen interest in it.
