British Parliamentarian Reaffirms Support for Pakistanis’ Rights

ISLAMABAD: British parliamentarian Jeremy Corbyn, former leader of the opposition and renowned human rights activist, has reiterated his steadfast support for Pakistanis in the UK Parliament.

During a meeting with Punjab Assembly Member Sultan Tariq Bajwa, Corbyn affirmed his dedication to advocating more effectively for the rights of Kashmiris and Palestinian Muslims on international platforms.

The discussions highlighted pressing issues such as the Kashmir conflict and the challenges faced by Palestinians, according to a news release received on Thursday.

Sultan Tariq Bajwa took the opportunity to clarify misconceptions and present realities regarding human rights violations in Pakistan.

He highlighted legislative measures and initiatives undertaken by the current government to address these concerns and also shed light on the severe human rights situation in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

This meeting represents a significant step towards fostering deeper understanding and cooperation between Pakistani representatives and British parliamentarians in addressing critical global human rights issues.
