ISLAMABAD: Caretaker Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Murtaza Solangi said on Monday that the business community was playing a very important role in the development of the economy with the promotion of business and enterprises in the country.
During a meeting with office bearers of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI), the minister said that the economy was invigorated only with investment and business activities.
The meeting deliberated upon several issues and initiatives, including the promotion of business activities in the country.
The minister assured the business leaders that the caretaker government would ensure full support to the ICCI in business and investment initiatives.
He said that with the support of the Chamber, maximum cooperation would be provided by the government to resolve the major issues of the business community.
National Development Linked with Business Community’s Prosperity
He added that national development was linked with the prosperity of the business community. In order to enhance Pakistan’s exports, the opinion of businessmen must be given due importance in the policy-making process, the minister maintained.
