MULTAN: Pakistan Peoples Party’s candidate Syed Ali Musa Gillani, son of Yousuf Raza Gillani has won Multan’s NA-157 by-elections with 79743 votes, according to unofficial and unconfirmed results.
PTI candidate Mehar Bano Qureshi, daughter of Shah Mahmood Qureshi remains second from all 264 polling stations of the constituency.
Mehar Bano bagged 59,993 votes and lost the coveted Multan constituency.
Yousaf Raza Gillani said that he was thankful to PPP for awarding his son the ticket and praised PML-N and the coalition alliance for supporting Musa.
