LAHORE: Customs, in a successful raid, captured a drug smuggler along with an accomplice with a package containing Rs 200 million worth of cancer drugs.
The details made available by Customs authorities state the drugs were taken from the possession of Naveed Shahzad at Allama Iqbal International Airport.
It was also stated that the drugs were imported from Turkey by one Naveed Shahzad.
The officials have also raised questions about the efficacy as well as the expiry of the drugs. The drugs have been confiscated and an inquiry is underway.
