MIRPURKHAS: Caretaker Chief Minister Sindh, Justice (R) Maqbool Baqir, officially inaugurated the digital website of the Mirpurkhas Education Board during a ceremony held at the Committee Room of the Chief Minister’s House.
The digital platform aims to streamline various educational processes, offering online facilities for examinations, document verification, admissions, and paper corrections.
During the ceremony, Chief Minister Sindh highlighted the significance of providing online textbooks in addition to traditional print versions. He directed the Education Department to collaborate with publishers to facilitate the availability of textbooks online, emphasizing the importance of making educational resources easily accessible to students.
Expressing his vision for digitizing the examination system across all boards, the Chief Minister underscored the need for advancements in the education sector.
The Mirpurkhas Education Board, responsible for overseeing districts such as Mirpurkhas, Umarkot, and Tharparkar, will play a crucial role in implementing these digital initiatives.
The inauguration involved pressing the computer button to officially launch the Mirpurkhas Education Board’s website. The platform will enable online enrollment, issuance of enrollment cards, submission of exam forms, and generation of online admit cards.
Additionally, students can verify their board papers, request document copies online, and teachers’ duty registrations for board exams will be facilitated through the website.
Acknowledging the role of technology in combating exam malpractices, the Chief Minister emphasized the need for well-crafted exam papers to ensure students’ understanding. The Chairman of Mirpurkhas Board assured the Chief Minister of ongoing efforts to enhance the examination system, incorporating professionalism and transparency.
The digitization initiative aligns with the broader goal of modernizing educational processes and fostering a more accessible and efficient learning environment.
