Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar Commends Pakistan’s Strong Ties with Turkiye on Republic Day

ISLAMABAD: Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar has reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to bolster the multifaceted strategic relations with Turkiye, with a particular emphasis on the economic dimension.

In a message extending warm felicitations to the people of Turkiye on their remarkable 100th Republic Day, Prime Minister Kakar underlined the significant steps taken to enhance economic cooperation between the two nations. These steps include the signing of the Trade in Goods Agreement (TGA) and the Strategic Economic Framework (SEF).

Prime Minister Kakar emphasized the pivotal role that a robust economic partnership and enhanced connectivity play in shaping the future of the bilateral relationship between Pakistan and Turkiye.

Highlighting the deep-rooted fraternal bonds based on shared values of religion, culture, and history, Prime Minister Kakar expressed appreciation for the institutional mechanisms that have fortified this relationship. The High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council (HLSCC) and the Strategic Economic Framework (SEF) have provided a leadership-driven, people-centric, and forward-looking direction for the Pak-Turkiye bilateral partnership across various sectors, including defence, economy, health, education, agriculture, tourism, and culture.

Prime Minister Kakar also commended the remarkable progress achieved by Turkiye over the last century, particularly under the dynamic leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

This message reflects the deep-seated and enduring friendship between Pakistan and Turkiye and underscores the shared vision of building a prosperous and interconnected future.
