Caretaker Prime Minister Stresses Role of Parents and Teachers in Students’ Future

KOHAT: Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar emphasized the pivotal roles of parents and teachers in shaping the future of students during his address at the 58th Parents Day of Cadet College Kohat (CCK).

Prime Minister Kakar, an alumnus of the college, acknowledged the significant contributions of faculty members and urged them to focus on grooming students with a high sense of purpose for the betterment of the nation.

Reflecting on his own student life at the college, Prime Minister Kakar highlighted the challenges that aimed at molding students into promising professionals and resilient individuals capable of facing life’s complexities. He urged parents to fulfill their responsibilities by actively supporting the college and providing effective training and guidance to their children.

Modern education, especially in the fields of science and technology, was emphasized by the prime minister as a key factor in guaranteeing a nation’s material prosperity. Kakar noted that educated youth, instilled with high moral values, play a crucial role in securing a bright future for the homeland. In the competitive landscape of the present age, he urged individuals to focus on acquiring modern education and cultivating strict work ethics to navigate the challenges of a rapidly evolving world.

Addressing the students directly, Prime Minister Kakar encouraged them to concentrate on their studies, make the most of available time and facilities, and fulfill the obligations made to their parents. Recalling his own admission to the college in 1984 as a fragile individual from a backward area of Balochistan province, Kakar expressed gratitude to his teachers and parents, attributing his current position to their guidance and support.

The prime minister paid a heartfelt tribute to his teachers, acknowledging their instrumental role in his personal and professional development, even remembering those who had passed away.
