ISLAMABAD: CAS- Serena Hotels Men & Women International Squash Championship 2023 successfully concluded at the Mushaf Complex in Islamabad on Monday.
Players from Pakistan, Egypt, Hongkong, Malaysia, and Spain participated in the tournament. In the Men’s final, Noor Zaman, ranked 112 in the world, secured victory with an impressive performance against the runner-up, Asim Khan, who held the seventy-two-world ranking. In the Ladies final, Amina El Rihanny from Egypt faced Nadien El Hammamy and won the title of Women’s Squash Championship final.
The prize money for the men’s championship was $1805 for the winner and $1140 for the runner-up, while the prize money for the women’s event was $902 for the winner and $570 for the runner-up.
The Guest of Honor at the closing ceremony was Air Marshal Irfan Ahmed Hilal-i-Imtiaz (Military), who thanked Serena Hotels for hosting the International Squash Championship.
