ISLAMABAD: Capital Development Authority (CDA) will disburse the Eid-ul-Fitr allowance along with the monthly salary for April on or before 17 April to all serving Muslim employees.
“The contract, daily wages and muster roll employees will be paid the Eid-ul-Fitr allowance as per their entitlement, i.e., presumably had they been appointed against regular posts,” CDA said in a press release on Monday.
It directed the Treasury Division, all DDOs, and Account Officers to ensure the payment of salary and allowance on or before 17 April 2023.
Eid chances
According to the Ruet-e-Hilal Research Council, the Eid ul Fitr is expected to fall on 22 April after completing thirty fasting days of the holy month of Ramazan.
Khalid Ijaz Mufti, Ruet-e-Hilal Research Council Secretary-General, said the Ruet body meeting would be convened on Thursday, 20 April 20, to see the Shawwal moon.
