ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) is planning to launch a new residential scheme only for overseas Pakistanis at Mauza Kuri in Islamabad.

The new scheme, sprawled across fourteen thousand kanal of land along Kuri Road, adjacent to Park Road, would be reserved exclusively for overseas Pakistanis, a CDA official said.

He said that the plots within the scheme would be marketed and sold to overseas Pakistanis in US dollars, contributing to Pakistan’s foreign exchange reserves, according to APP.

He further said that in the initial phase, the CDA has allowed the relevant authorities for the appointment of a design consultant. The decision was made during a meeting headed by CDA Chairman, Captain (r) Anwar ul Haque.

The official added that the designated consultant would be responsible for overseeing the execution and conducting various essential studies in the scheme, including those related to traffic management, environmental impact, and hydrology.

Moreover, he said the consultant would develop the design for infrastructure as well as road development, ensuring that all modern amenities are seamlessly integrated into the scheme.
