DUBAI, UAE: The Pakistan Association Dubai, in collaboration with the Pakistan Business Council and the Consulate General of Pakistan in Dubai, hosted a vibrant Mango Festival that drew a diverse array of guests, including diplomats, community leaders, and government officials.
Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi and Consul General Hussain Muhammad inaugurated the event with a Quran recitation and the National Anthem, underscoring the cultural significance of mangoes in Pakistan’s heritage.
Ambassador Tirmizi highlighted the event as a highly anticipated occasion, celebrating mangoes native to the Indus Valley, intrinsic to Pakistan’s agricultural identity. He expressed gratitude for the enthusiastic participation, emphasizing the fruit’s seasonal importance.
Consul General Hussain Muhammad emphasized the cultural resonance of Pakistani mangoes, noting their role as symbols of hospitality and tradition. The festival concluded with Minister Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah presenting mementos, highlighting the event’s cultural exchange and community cohesion.
