ISLAMABAD: A grand ceremony was held in Islamabad to celebrate the 10-year milestone of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and the enduring friendship between Pakistan and China. The event showcased a documentary titled “Chinese Girl’s Adventures in Pakistan,” created by Chinese journalist Noreen, who shared her experiences and perceptions of Pakistan and its people.
The ceremony witnessed a significant turnout of attendees, with the documentary being shared across nine different platforms to promote Pak-China friendship and the accomplishments of CPEC. State Minister for Interior, Javed Sohrab Malik, graced the occasion as the chief guest.
Talking to WE News, Minister Malik emphasized the importance of people-to-people contacts in fostering various forms of cooperation between the two brotherly nations. He also commended the documentary, “Chinese Girl’s Adventures in Pakistan.”
Noreen, the Chinese journalist behind the documentary, expressed her admiration for Pakistan after spending over seven months in the country, exploring cities like Lahore and immersing herself in its culture. She described Pakistan as a modern and beautiful country and expressed appreciation for the warm hospitality she received from the Pakistani people.

Fahad Gohar Malik, the Executive Director of 101 Friend of China and co-producer of the film, highlighted that “Chinese Girl’s Adventures in Pakistan” provides a unique perspective of Pakistan through the eyes of a Chinese journalist. The documentary serves as a testament to the strong and brotherly relations between Pakistan and China. Malik added that the people of Pakistan are eager to understand and appreciate the similarities between Chinese and Pakistani cultures.
