Central Asia, Foreign Leaders Congratulate Kazakhstan on Independence Day

ASTANA, Kazakhstan: Foreign leaders and heads of international organizations sent their letters and telegrams of congratulations to President Kassy-Jomart Tokayev on the occasion of the Independence Day of Kazakhstan, the Kazinform press service quoted the Akorda press service while saying this.

The President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and the brotherly people of Kazakhstan on the holiday, emphasized the long path of huge changes and revolutionary reforms that friendly Kazakhstan has gone through, and appreciated the respect and prestige the country enjoys on the international stage.

In his congratulatory message, Kyrgyz President Sadyr Žaparov expressed his belief that President Tokayev’s work on implementing ambitious plans to build a New and Just Kazakhstan with equal opportunities for all Kazakhs will be highly valued by the public and will go down in history.

The President of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, wished prosperity and further development to the brotherly people of Kazakhstan on the occasion of Independence Day and praised the huge achievements in all spheres of life that Kazakhstan has already achieved during the years of independence.

In his congratulatory message to President Kassy-Jomart Tokayev, the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, pointed to centuries-old friendship and good neighborliness.

The presidents of the UAE, Indonesia, Croatia, Paraguay, Ghana and many other foreign leaders greeted Kazakhs on the occasion of Independence Day.
