LAHORE:  The self-proclaimed singer Chahat Fateh Ali Khan’s latest song ‘Bado Badi’ which has taken the internet by storm through quickly gathering more than 23 million views on YouTube in a short span of time, has been reportedly removed from the platform for reason of copyright claim as the original song is owned by legendary Pakistani singer Madam Noor Jehan.

The song was a duplication of Noor Jehan’s popular ‘Bado Badi’ which was sung for the movie ‘Banarsi Thug.’ Chahat Fateh Ali Khan did not issue any statement over the latest development. However, netizens offered mixed reactions in the comment section, many have expressed joy while others considered the step as ‘unnecessary.’

Bado Badi has resonated with audiences across Pakistan, Bangladesh, India and other countries, which has made it a transnational hit.

Stars from India like Diljeet Dosanjh, B Praak, and Guru Randhawa have also joined the trend, each adding their own special touch to the song.
