ISLAMABAD: Learn how to make delicious Chicken Manchurian with Egg Fried Rice at home with easily available ingredients.
Ingredients for chicken Manchurian
- Chicken boneless (cubes) 800 g
- Shan Ginger Garlic Paste 1 tbsp.
- Egg 1
- Corn flour 1/4 cup
- Chili sauce 1 tbsp
- White pepper powder 1 tsp.
- Salt 1 tsp.
- Oil (for frying) as required
- Slurry (cornstarch 3 tbsp. + water 1/4 cup)
- Fried chicken
- Capsicum 1 (chopped)
- Carrot 1 (chopped)
- Sesame seeds (for garnishing)
- Green onion (chopped) for garnishing
Ingredients for Scrambled Eggs
- 2 tbsp oil
- 2 Beaten eggs
Directions:
- Add chicken, egg, Shan Ginger Garlic Paste, corn flour, white pepper powder, chili sauce and salt in a bowl and mix it well.
- In a deep pan fry oil and deep fry these chicken chunks until 90% done. Set them aside.
- In a wok, heat oil and add Shan Ginger Garlic Paste, ketchup, soy sauce, chili sauce, white pepper powder, sugar, and black pepper powder and cook for a minute.
- Add chicken stock and bring it to a simmer. Add slurry and cook until it starts to thicken.
- Now add fried chicken and cook for 1-2 mins or until chicken is fully done. Your Chicken Manchurian is ready. Sprinkle sesame seeds and green onion for garnishing.
- In a pan, heat oil and add beaten eggs. Scramble and cook until fully done. Set aside.
- In a wok, heat oil and add Shan Ginger Garlic Paste. Cook for a minute. Add chopped capsicum, and carrot and cook for another minute.
- Now add boiled rice and toss them well. Add black pepper powder, salt, green onion and toss well over a high flame for one minute. Your Chicken Manchurian with Egg Fried Rice is ready to be enjoyed!
