KARACHI: Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf on Friday met with Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah at the Chief Minister House.
During the meeting, they discussed various professional matters. CM Shah highlighted Karachi’s significance as a naval city due to its coastal location. He emphasized the valuable contributions of the Pakistan Navy in the education and healthcare sectors in Sindh, as well as their assistance during times of crisis such as floods.
Admiral Naveed Ashraf congratulated CM Murad Ali Shah on assuming office as Chief Minister and appreciated the continuous support of the Sindh government to the Pakistan Navy. He mentioned the Navy’s ongoing efforts in education, healthcare, and welfare along the Sindh coastline.
Following the discussion, CM Shah presented traditional gifts of Ajrak and Sindhi cap to the Naval Chief, while Admiral Naveed Ashraf presented a model of a PN ship to the Chief Minister as a token of appreciation.
