KUALALUMPUR, Malaysia: In celebration of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Malaysia, the Chinese Islamic Culture Exhibition 2024 will be held in Malaysia from September 10 to 12.
The exhibition, themed “Mutual Learning between Civilizations for Joint Prosperity,” aims to strengthen cultural ties and promote understanding between the two nations.
The event will showcase a variety of cultural displays, including picture and photography exhibitions, as well as exhibitions of Chinese and Arabic calligraphy, painting, and papercut art. These displays will highlight the rich history and contemporary presence of Islam in China, while also shedding light on the historical exchanges and enduring friendship between Chinese and Malaysian Muslims.
According to Jin Rubin, Vice President of the China Islamic Association, the picture exhibition will offer a unique insight into the past and present of Islam in China, emphasizing the long-standing connections between the Muslim communities of both countries.
In addition to the visual arts, the exhibition will feature artistic performances designed to foster deeper cultural exchanges and enhance people-to-people ties between China and Malaysia.
