MOSCOW, Russia: Two Chinese Coast Guard ships, Meishan and Xiushan, arrived in Russia’s far east for joint drills and patrols with Russian forces, part of the “Pacific Patrol 2024” exercise.

The ships docked in Vladivostok, where a welcoming ceremony took place on September 17. This exercise follows another joint drill in the Sea of Japan a week earlier, as both nations ramp up military cooperation.
