BEIJING: Chinese President Xi Jinping said Friday that China and Brazil should further deepen practical cooperation and tap the potential to work together in diverse sectors, including energy, agriculture, and infrastructure construction.
China-Brazil ties
According to Reuters, in a meeting with visiting Brazilian President in Beijing, the Chinese President said Beijing has made ties with Brazil a diplomatic priority.
The two sides also discussed the Ukraine conflict and agreed that negotiations and dialogue are the only feasible way out of the conflict and crisis. The Brazilian President arrived in China on Wednesday.
Before his talks with President Xi, the Brazilian president said, “We have extraordinary relations with Beijing, a relationship that every day gets more stronger.”
China and Brazil need to work together so that the relationship is not just of commercial interest, he further said.
