ISLAMABAD/BEIJING: Haining city with several advanced photovoltaic energy storages and other new energy companies is looking forward to strengthening cooperation and technical exchanges with Pakistani and other Belt and Road Initiative nations in the field of new energy and commerce.
These views were expressed by the Deputy Director of the Economic Development Office of Zhouwangmiao, Haining City, Zhejiang province, Jin Hongxian, in a recent business matchmaking between Pakistani technology companies and Haining.
Haining has established a new energy emerging manufacturing cluster with an industrial output value of RMB 50 billion above scale and a GDP of RMB 119.63 billion in 2021.
The origin of Haining leather, Zhouwangmiao, part of the Yangtze River Delta integrated development core area, was previously referred to as “China’s Number 1 Leather Town” by the Chinese Ministry of Light Industry.
The town’s economy is guided by biomedicine, electronic information, and high-end equipment manufacturing.

He is looking for businesses that comprehend the need for solar energy and manufacturing-related equipment in emerging nations and areas along the Belt and Road.
“Pakistan has enormous opportunities and advantages to develop the photovoltaic industries, including transportation, agriculture, small and medium industry, commercial and public services, etc. We want to form partnerships with quality PV companies in Haining to enhance the manufacturing and operational maintenance capabilities of Pakistan’s PV industry,” said Sami Iqbal.
On this occasion, Yu Linjie, General Manager of Zhejiang Chuanda New Energy Co., Ltd, expressed his interest in working with Pakistani PV companies in the investment plan, after-sales services, and equipment upgrades.
