China Firmly Denounces Indian Double Standards on Counterterrorism

BEIJING, China: China has unequivocally denounced what it perceives as Indian double standards on counterterrorism.

In response to queries regarding alleged Indian involvement in terrorist activities, particularly in Balochistan, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Mao Ning expressed serious concerns and condemned such activities. Emphasizing that terrorism is a common enemy of humanity, she strongly opposed any double standards in the global fight against terrorism.

The spokesperson voiced disapproval of supporting and utilizing terrorist groups for selfish interests, cautioning that such actions, at the expense of international and regional security, benefit no one and will ultimately have detrimental consequences. Mao Ning issued a stern warning that those backing terrorist groups would face a strict response.

Highlighting China’s stance, Mao Ning advocated for strengthened cooperation among countries in countering terrorism. She underscored the need for joint efforts to combat all forms of terrorism, emphasizing the importance of international collaboration in addressing this shared challenge.

This development echoes concerns previously raised by other nations, including the United States of America and Canada, regarding alleged involvement of the Indian government and its intelligence agency RAW in terrorist activities beyond its borders.
