China’s Premier Li Qiang Arrives in Abu Dhabi, Received by UAE Ruler

ABU DHABI: Ruler of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed on Thursday received China’s Premier Li Qiang in Abu Dhabi.

In a statement on X, Sheikh Mohamed said the two sides reviewed joint efforts to enhance a comprehensive strategic partnership between the UAE and China.

“The UAE is committed to building upon 40 years of deep-rooted cooperation with China to achieve enduring growth, development, and prosperity for our people,” said Sheikh Mohamed.

Premier Li Qiang arrived in the UAE after concluding a visit to Saudi Arabia. Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on Wednesday met with Chinese Premier Li Qiang and discussed regional and international developments.

The two leaders also chaired the Fourth Meeting of the High-Level Saudi-Chinese Joint Committee, where cooperation and coordination, focusing on political and security aspects, trade opportunities, investment, culture, energy, and technology came under discussion.
