BEIJING, China: Chinese President Xi Jinping will attend the 16th BRICS Summit in Kazan, Russia, from October 22 to 24, as confirmed by China’s foreign ministry.
Xi will participate in key discussions with leaders from Brazil, Russia, India, and South Africa, focusing on the global political landscape according to Reuters.
The Chinese delegation aims to foster deeper cooperation within BRICS, promoting unity and self-reliance among Global South nations.
According to ministry spokesperson Mao Ning, China seeks to use this summit to enhance collaborative efforts for global peace and development, reinforcing its commitment to strengthening ties within the BRICS framework.
