BEIJING: The National Ballet of China is set to enchant audiences with their rendition of “Cinderella” at the National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing from Friday to Sunday.
Originally premiered abroad in 1970, this ballet classic made its eagerly anticipated debut in Beijing in 2018. The 2024 version, choreographed by Ben Stevenson, showcases a talented cast of young artists from the National Ballet of China.
Established in 1959, the National Ballet of China boasts a cadre of highly skilled artistic personnel trained in professional art institutes. With Russian techniques at its core, the company incorporates the strengths of various art genres.
