RIYADH: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) has celebrated the upcoming Chinese New Year in order to further enhance and promote cultural, artistic cooperation and exchange between Riyadh and Beijing. The aim of the celebration is to familiarize Saudis with Chinese culture.
The new year celebration was hosted at Boulevard World’s Chinese pavilion, which was attended by China’s envoy to Saudi Arabia, Thailand’s Ambassador to KSA, and a large number of visitors.
Chinese New Year Celebrations
Yang Liqin also attended the Chinese New Year Celebrations in Riyadh and expressed happiness to celebrate the new year in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Yang Liqin said, “Every Chinese citizen here is very thankful to Saudi Arabia’s government for giving us the opportunity to display China and its culture to the Arabs and foreigner citizens in the Kingdom”.

China is the home of an ancient civilization and cultural heritage, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is the cradle of Islamic culture and history. The Silk Road connected the two civilizations together in the past and contributed to the cause of humanity.
