ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faez Isa is all set to retire today following serving for over 13 months, local media reported.
After the reference, Chief Justice-designate Yahya Afridi will host a farewell dinner for the outgoing Chief Justice Isa, attended by other judges of the Supreme Court. As per the Supreme Court roster, Justice Faez Isa will dedicate his final day to chamber work.
According to media reports, Justice Yahya Afridi will take oath as the new Chief Justice on Saturday at 11 am. Pakistan’s President Asif Zardari will administer the oath to him.
