Weather Update: Cloudy Weather Expected in Most Upper Parts Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: The upper regions of the country are likely to experience predominantly cloudy weather over the next 12 hours.

However, the Potohar region, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir anticipate rain, wind, thunderstorms, and snowfall in the hills during the evening and night.

Additionally, central/southern parts of Punjab and upper Sindh may experience smog and fog during the morning hours. Morning temperatures in major cities were recorded as follows: Islamabad, Peshawar, and Muzaffarabad at nine degrees Celsius, Lahore at fifteen, Karachi at seventeen, Quetta at six, Gilgit at two, and Murree at eight degrees Celsius.

In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Srinagar, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramulla expect cloudy skies with chances of rain, wind, and thunderstorms during the evening and night. Leh anticipates cloudy and cold weather, while Jammu expects partly cloudy conditions.

Morning temperatures in this region were recorded as: Srinagar at three degrees Celsius, Jammu at twelve, Leh at minus three, Pulwama at two, Anantang and Shopian at four, and Baramulla at seven degrees Celsius.
