PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur on Monday chaired a meeting of the Energy and Power Department and ordered the inclusion of religious seminaries in the plan for solarization of mosques and worship places.
He instructed the concerned authorities to take necessary measures to also include the religious madrassas of the merged districts in the project.
He said that thousands of students were studying and living in these seminaries and it was very important to solarize them.
The CM was briefed on the development projects of the department, financial, and administrative matters by the concerned authorities.
He directed early appointments of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and members of the Executive Committee of PEDO.
CM Directs Early Completion of Projects in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
Gandapur also ordered to ensure the timely completion of ongoing hydropower projects and said that unnecessary delay in the projects would not be tolerated in any case.
He said that penalties should be imposed on contractors who failed to complete projects within the stipulated time.
The CM further said that early completion of the projects should be prioritised to generate revenue.
