CM Sindh, Iranian Ambassador Discuss Bilateral Relations

KARACHI: Reza Amiri Moghadam, Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan, on Thursday called on Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah in Karachi.

During the meeting, both discussed matters of mutual interest, bilateral ties, and further improving the trade and transport between the two countries.

They also discussed connecting railway lines from Karachi to Zahedan through Gwadar.

CM Invites Iranian Investors 

CM Syed Murad Ali Shah invited Iranian investors to invest in low-cost housing schemes, agriculture, banking, and other sectors in Sindh.

He said that Pakistani people look at Iran with great respect and honor. Pakistan and Iran are neighboring and Muslim-brother countries, which can further enhance bilateral trade in various sectors.

The ambassador congratulated Murad Ali Shah on taking charge as Chief Minister Sindh for the third time.

He highlighted the importance of the Gwadar and Chabahar ports.
