ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir visited Peshawar Police Lines blast site on Friday.
COAS met with police officers and men and appreciated the bravery and contribution of Khyber Pakhthunkhwa (KP) police and law enforcement agencies in war against terrorism.
COAS praises KP police officers
General Asim Munir added that the KP police was one of the bravest and it has fought against terrorism as a frontline force. Additionally, he appreciated the KP force and LEA’s high morale paying rich tribute to the martyrs of police who have laid down their lives for the defence of motherland.
In conclusion, the COAS said that we as a nation together will root out this menace of terrorism till enduring peace and Insha Allah we shall achieve this.
