Cold and Dry Conditions Prevail Across Pakistan,  Rain/Snow Expected in North Gilgit-Baltistan

ISLAMABAD: The upcoming twelve hours in Pakistan anticipate mainly cold and dry weather in most regions, with northern parts experiencing partly cloudy and very cold conditions. Isolated places in Gilgit Baltistan and upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa may witness light rain accompanied by snow over mountains.

Persistent fog and smog are likely in the plain areas of Punjab, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, and upper Sindh. Temperature readings recorded this morning in major cities include Islamabad at seven degrees Celsius, Lahore at ten, Karachi at twenty, Peshawar at five, Quetta at eight, Gilgit at minus two, Murree at two, and Muzafarabad at six degrees Celsius.

For Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the weather forecast predicts very cold and cloudy conditions in Srinagar, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula. Jammu is expected to have cold, partly cloudy weather.

Morning temperature readings in the region recorded Srinagar, Pulwama, and Baramula at zero degrees Celsius, Jammu at nine, Leh at minus six, and Anantnag and Shopian at one degree Celsius.
