Weather Update: Cold, Cloudy Weather Expected in Upper Parts of Pakistan: PMD

ISLAMABAD: The upper regions of the country anticipate mainly cold conditions with partial cloud cover over the next 12 hours.

In Punjab’s plain areas, the likelihood of smog and fog persists during morning hours. Morning temperatures in major cities were as follows: Islamabad at eleven degrees Celsius, Lahore at fourteen, Karachi at eighteen, Peshawar and Muzafarabad at nine, Quetta and Murree at seven, and Gilgit at five degrees Celsius.

The forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir indicates a prediction of partly cloudy and intensely cold weather in Srinagar, Leh, Shopian, and Baramulla. Meanwhile, Jammu, Pulwama, and Anantang expect cold and dry conditions. Recorded temperatures this morning were Srinagar, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula at two degrees Celsius, Jammu at fourteen, Leh at minus four, and Pulwama at three degrees Celsius.
