Weather Update: Cold, Cloudy Weather Likely in Most Parts of Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: The forecast predicts predominantly cold and cloudy conditions across most regions of the country over the next twelve hours. However, West and Southwest Balochistan should brace for rain, wind, and thunderstorms. Additionally, a likelihood of smog and fog exists in select plain areas of Punjab during the morning hours.

This morning, temperatures were recorded as follows in major cities: Islamabad at seven degrees Celsius, Lahore at thirteen, Karachi at twenty-three, Peshawar at nine, Quetta at twelve, Gilgit at three, Murree at five, and Muzaffarabad at eight degrees Celsius.

Turning to the weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramulla are expected to experience cold and cloudy weather. Srinagar will be partly cloudy, while Jammu will also have partly cloudy skies, but notably colder conditions are anticipated in Leh.

Morning temperatures in this region were recorded as follows: Srinagar, Anantnag, and Baramulla at one degree Celsius, Jammu at seven, Leh at minus six, and Pulwama and Shopian at two degrees Celsius.
