Weather Update: Cold, Cloudy Weather Likely in Most Parts of Pakistan: PMD

ISLAMABAD: The upper regions of the country anticipate mainly cold and overcast conditions over the next 12 hours.

Some flat areas in eastern Punjab might experience smog and fog in the morning hours.

This morning’s temperatures in major cities were as follows: Islamabad at eleven degrees Celsius, Lahore at fourteen, Karachi at twenty, Peshawar and Muzaffarabad at eight, Quetta at five, and both Gilgit and Murree at six degrees Celsius.

In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Srinagar, Jammu, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramulla are forecasted to have cold and cloudy weather, whereas Leh is expected to be very cold and overcast. Recorded temperatures this morning were: Srinagar, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula at two degrees Celsius, Jammu at fourteen, Leh at minus four, and Pulwama at three degrees Celsius.
